My internship with GEMx enabled me to learn and grow. This was mainly thanks to the support and trust of my mentors, who have been in the industry for years. My mentors so generously imparted their wealth of knowledge to me through cultivating a comfortable environment for me to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn. My experience had been wholesome thanks to the invaluable experience of working in a team, and I was able to gain more knowledge and insights of the fintech industry.

During my internship at Gemx Technologies, the first thing that comes to mind is project management skills like task distribution and how to be held accountable for my assignments and deadlines. Rotating through various departments-Marketing, Tech, Operations, Admin, and Business Development-allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the company. I was empowered to learn at my own pace and budget time appropriately. In the Marketing department, I devised strategies that enhanced our outreach efforts. My involvement in tech development and innovation provided hands-on experience with cutting- edge projects. Assisting in optimising operational processes taught me the significance of efficiency and continuous improvement. Additionally, participating in business development initiatives broadened my perspective on growth strategy and developed my confidence during sales pitch. Gemx Technologies offers limitless growth opportunities, making it an ideal place for interns to learn about the industry. The positive office culture further enriches the learning experience.
